I have an outdoor gig tonight and need to use a bigger cab. I can use a mark bass 8x10. It sounds good with my head, but is there any danger in using this setup?

If it sounds good, what's the worry ?

Not sure if I'll mess my head up in anyway?

  4. To keep from messing your head up, don't use alchohol or drugs before the gig.:woot:

But for the amp head, (Solid State output) as long as the cab impedance is not less than the amp's minimum impedance rating, the amp will be happy.

If it's a tube output amp, the amp will be happiest and transfer the most power to the speakers if the the cab impedance matches the amp's output impedance.

How many times do you have to be told that using your amp with an 8x10 will be fine. I’ll do it once again: Your amp will be fine pushing an 8x10. :D
