tremolo bars

  1. hey,
    what do u guys think about a tremolo bar on a bass does it improve the bass or do you think it is just for looks?:bassist: :bassist:

    I wouldn't say it necessarily improves the bass, but it gives you a dimension that other basses don't have. And it is definitely not for looks, unless you are a poseur.

    i don't see how it would improve it any more, it depends really who's looking at it. i think that it would be pretty cool to have one. i mean, look at a lot of stuff les claypool uses it with, it sounds badass!

    Read through this, you'll find it very helpful. Oh, and IMO they're fun, but not worth the trouble in the long run.
