Tricked my wife Ric 4003

Sweet, that does like like a brand new Ric

 

I always wanted to throw in a toaster pu on my 4003, how do you compare it to the stock pickup?

My wife is just the opposite of yours, by the sound of it. She never gives me grief about buying another bass, but when I put a 70s style B/B neck on one of my Jazz basses, she seemed a little surprised ("Wait, so you just paid hundreds of dollars for *a part* of a bass??").

the toaster sounds quite tempting. that's kind of cool that your wife is tuned in to the details of your Ric, mine wouldn't notice anything different.

Me too. I thought he 'tricked out' his wife by selling his Ric (think silicon enhancements).

Strange... my wife did the same thing to me when she had one of the chairs reupholstered. The difference is that I'm still pissed.
