Great preamp with a very musical, useful EQ. Love mine, and I use it at the end of my ampless pedalboard chain for fine-tuning EQ adjustments. Or sometimes by itself when I want transparent awesomeness. The lows and low-mids are phenomenal. When I do use my small stage amp, the EQ of the Minnow sounds way better/cleaner/clearer than the onboard amp EQ. GLWTS.
Thanks @jacoby75 -- I really like the sound of the pedal, especially while recording but travel has left me downsizing some great gear. You can really push the lows and it never gets muddy.
Yep. That's the best part about it. It boosts lows at 80Hz, I think, as a shelf. It adds punch and depth without adding mud. I wasn't sure about 80Hz at first, since most other pres seem to set bass at 40Hz, but it really sounds phenomenal. It makes me never want to buy a bass pre that boosts at 40Hz again.
If it doesn’t sell I won’t be sad, I’ll just have to leave some clothes behind so I don’t have overweight luggage!
