I kind of wanted an EB-3 (with 34" scale and bridge pickup) because i kept hearing that the EB-0 is a one trick pony, and not a very good one. But i tried an EB-0 today and was really surprised-it didn't sound "muddy and undefined" at all, but really warm and natural, like the lowest notes on a nylon string guitar. Plus it was really comfortable to play! I'm sure the EB-3 has to have "even more of that" then though. Or what do you think?
