Triple-coil wiring with mini-toggle?

Discussion in 'Pickups & Electronics [BG]' started by Peter McFerrin, Jul 4, 2000.

  1. Is it possible to wire a Music Man-style pickup for series/parallel/single with a DPTT on/on/on mini-toggle switch, or should I use a different switch?

The Warwick Corvette FNA has these 3 options for the humbucker bridge pickup. Maybe you can check what switch they use and how to wire it.

  3. You would need DPDT on/on/on switch for wiring humbuckers in series / coil-cut / parallel. This is the way you can get all 3 options in one switch.

  4. You need a DPDT On-On-On, which is also known as a SP3T.
