does anybody use this? I have been experimenting with this since watching The Low End DVD. It is really great. Anybody got any tips on how to smooth it out? I'm getting better the more I use it. If you haven't seen it, watch that DVD! :bassist:

However, I don't really know much about technique? What do you mean by "Triple Pluck"?

And what is that DVD all about?

it is using the three fingers on your plucking hand in succession. Kind of a bud-dah-bum note thing. wouds really cool with hammer ons. The DVD is about the band, Gov't Mule, whose bass player, Alan Woody died a few years back. So Mike Gordon, whom you know from Phish, made a film. Gov't Mule got together with Alan Woody's favorite bass players to make an album. These included John Entwhistle, Flea, Les Claypool, Bootsy Collins, and many others. Lots of really awesome bass players. It's a great film. You ought to watch it.

I triple-pluck sometimes. Sometimes I ghost-note if the tempo is pretty quick and I don't need notes so much as the illusion of notes.
