For a few years I've been tempted to put together an instrument with three Bass VI necks. Just because there are times when my current multi-necks don't seem absurd enough. If you were going to do the same, how would you do it? What electronics, strings, tunings, bridges etc. would you want on the three necks?
I think this guy is actually Steve Vai, here undercover so no one realizes his new career direction! It's okay Steve, your secret's safe with us... Hey guys! Steve Vai is here!!!!!!! Well, almost safe....
Considering my multi-necked BGs, my guitarless metal bands and my obsession with women's rear ends, one could argue that my life already is such a tribute.
Then he is at the same starting block as the rest of us started and has yet to proven himself. Which means he is nothing special as of yet and might as well be Steve Vai the plumber!
I would say make the first neck a twelve string (A Twelve string Bass VI just imagine the sound) The seong being normal and the third being fretless.
Oh on topic, I'd wan one double bucker, one strat like and one tele like, pickup wise. At least one whammy bar, and not the bass vi useless one. Tunings, BEADGB, EADGBE(with a hipshot Drop tuner), and one Eflat(with a hipshot Drop tuner). Also, would it be possible for one neck to be fretless.
I don't care if he moonlights as a mandolin instructor, he still played with Frank Zappa on the bootleg, "F*** Yourself"...
