I continue the last build i started more than a year ago.
I have made the truss rod canal 1-2mm deeper,so in the future if i need to take the truss rod out, will be easy, just pulling it from the front side.
Is this good idea or bad?
Maybe these 1-2mm of air will be more problem with the work of the truss rod?
I can glue a piece of maple to fill this.
I havent glue the fretboard yet.
    What is best to do?

Gaps can cause rattles. It will also cause most of the working area of the threads to take up air space instead of inducing force.

    Poor idea.

Snug as a bug in a rug is the way to go.

I think it's not a good idea, the truss rod may need something to "push against". Double action may be different, one of the experts will surely chime in (subbed for learning).
