Truss rods?

    I think this is the right forum.

    What is a truss rod, i know its down the middle of the neck. My yamaha doesn't have, my ibanez does. I heard of people making adjustments to it, why and what difference does it make?

    virtually all modern instruments have them (many acoustics do not, or are not adjustable)

    it is under the cover on the headstock usually but on many bolt on necks is at the heel of the neck.

    read alot before you tweak
