Trying to emulate Fender RB5 in single coil mode

    Is there any J pickup that sounds like a Fender Roscoe Beck 5 in single coil mode? I've tried so many J pickups, and haven't found anything that nails that sound. I know Bill Lawrence designed the pickups, but it sounds like ordering from them might be risky...plus would his stock J's sound anything like the RB5 in SC mode anyway?

    PS, I'd be looking for a 4-string jazz pickup that nails this sound, not a 5 string.
