To make a Sims Super Quad-style PuP, could I essentially wire 4 "2 string" PuPs and position them like: (<N> & <S> indicate polarity) <neck> <N><N> <S><S> <Bridge> or <neck> <N><S> <S><N> <Bridge> And control the 4 with a set of DPDT switches? Just getting into pickup science and I am probably in over my head... Would there need to be some staggering/overlap laterally (a la P split PuP)? Something like: <neck> [N1][--N2] [S1--][S2] <Bridge> So that if I have N2 + S1, I get a P split If all 4, I get a Humbucker If N1 + N2 or S1 + S2 I get a J Single (possibly behaving as a split coil single) tnx
