Does anyone know how much it costs to replace a tube on a traynor bass mate amp? Would it be worth replacing or should I just buy a new amp?

It's always better to just buy new amp when it needs new tubes. That's what most of us here do.

What type of tube is it?

A single current production pre-amp tube can be purchased in the $10 to $25 range.

A single new power tube is often in the $15 to $50 range. I don't know if that amp has a tube power section, but if it is, then it would be best to have the amp biased by a technician with matching power tubes.
