'TUBE' compressors?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Bigfeet, Dec 27, 2001.

  1. I love the way tube compression sounds, I'm sorry to post more then one compression thread in the effects forum but there aren't that many threads on tube compressors... Looking for one to put in my rig (I know they're expensive and heavy but I really like the way they sound.) I've been looking at the Bellari tube compressor (it's cheap for a single channel one, and that's all I need.) and the Fatman tube compressor. (Expensive and appearently best sounding plus it allow you to store presets!) Can anyone suggest any?

demeter, they have a great tube compression. But they are very expensive.
There is a pedal, squeeze box I think, that is a tube compression in a floor pedal. I never heard it though.
