tube watts and solid state watts

    what is the difference. ive been playing for four years but just recently started caring about my rig. right now i have an ampeg b-25 rated for 50 watts. and an eden solid state rated for 120. the ampeg kicks its ass obviously, but why is it louder?
     
  2. natuaral Tube compression and thats only 50 CLEAN tube Watts wheres it may be putting out 200 Watts in reality
