Tubes VS. Solidstate

    I know that 400 watts is 400 watts comming from either solid state or tubes.
    having never played thru a tube rig is there anything to it that i hear that the tube rig will blow away any solid state rig that has 4 time the power of the tube rig?

    for the most part tube and SS amps sound closely the same. Tube amps being alittle more juicy
