Someone offered me this bass , a used one , good condition. It has 36" scale 36 lined fretless. J plus piezo p.up with special padded gigbag for US 600, . I have not tried yet, because is located some distance away, any body has tried this bass, or any comment?

I once had impure thoughts. Oh, and I pluck my ear hair.
Ah, the Space Bass. Well, if you can get past the funky shape and possible likelihood of its point becoming impaled upon you or someone nearby, I'd say that it's a good buy.

Tune makes excellent basses (I own a fretless Maniac) and I believe that the Space Bass sold for much more than that back in the day (not sure if it's still being made).

Personally, I'm not much for bizarre shapes, no matter who makes the bass. My Warwick Fortress is about as unconventional as I'll go.

I haven't played one of those, but I do love my Tune 5 string.

If you don't buy that one... let me know!! It's too weird to pass up!!

The Space Bass is listed on the Tune website. I believe it is one of the limited-run models listed as having a 3-month wait.
