Tuning A D G C

    Please Help! I have been trying to tune for norwegian wood but either the strings get really tough to fret or the action gets high please help me!

    You are using the lightest strings from a six string set correct?

    That should give you normal tension. Never heard Vic's version, is it any good?

    No im using normal Drs. So all I need is ligther strings?

    it will help. think of it like this

    Six String Set


    that should give you proper tension. You are lucky that you did not start popping strings tuning your E to A

    or if you have a 5 just do ADGCF.

    He's trying to tune up a fourth, not down.
  8. Not familiar with this song, but might I suggest a capo? I have a Kyser that I have been messing with, and if you clamp it at the 5th fret, sure enough you get ADGC, and leave plenty of room for playing whatever you need.
