Tuning keys ?

Discussion in 'Setup & Repair [DB]' started by C.Veltman, Mar 31, 2001.

  1. Dear bassfriends,
I have been searching the net for a new set of tuning keys for
    my latest purchase...
(No, not the Hungarian, this time it´s a vintage Pfretschner. Am I suffering from the known Higdon illness ? ;-))

I am aware of the "common" sources such as Lemur, Kolstein
and Gage but do find them simply to pricy.
Do you have direct connection or url to a producer ?

Thanks in advance and kind regards !

  2. Hi, CV, I know those Irving Sloan machines that everybody likes are pretty pricey at $400 a set, but
did you actually check with Lemur? They have Tuners from $100 to $217 a set. I don't know what your price range is, but $25 per tuner seems pretty reasonable to me.
