Is this possible? By just changing the strings and the nut? Even in 35" scales?
  2. hmmmmmm to me that sounds like a gnar, XD

but i thnk it would be sweet bass pups = bass tone, the wide string spacing would be kool.

there would be a lot more tension, so youd have to make a neck adjustment thats for sure.

but were would you get the strings?

itd be an interesting instrument for solo bass stuff.
  3. See if you can find our own TBer Angus, I believe he was the one that made a RBX6JM piccolo, which i always hated, but then wanted to buy, but by then it was sold :(

Good question that one, about the strings.

How does one get bass piccolo strings?

The bass is an Ibanez BTB 406  Not the best one, i know!

www.juststrings.com can help. No one really makes piccolo bass strings, but they sell individual ones so you can put together whatever ones you need.
