OK, so you may remember that I have another Sadowsky Modern 5-24 on order, Munji's Tuxedo Bass. You know, alder body, olympic white, matching headstock, ebony 'board, no dots, black hardware. Well, I've cheesed out. I just called Kevin today and gave him the bad news. I've got to have gold hardware.

    Don't hate me.

    Hehe. Good call.

Folmeister's new Ritter put you over the edge. Go ahead and deny it. :D

    ...gold hardware.... noooooo!!!!!!!!!

I'm sure it'll look okay anyway though. It's a Sadowsky after all.

  6. Well, as long as you wear golden cufflinks. Or maybe a nice golden tiara? Or a crown?

I say we should strip him of all but three hundred posts as a penalty, thereby reinstating him as an unknown n00b.

Really though, I can't stand gold hardware.

It's due in April. You know, I had seen that Ritter before and wasn't consciously thinking about it when I made my decision, but that look was somewhere in the recesses of my crenulations. While I can't climb on board with that shape, it definitely has class. This will be my 6th bass with gold hardware. My teeth, however, have porcelain crowns.

any tux needs a little bling.

  13. Exactly. It's like a classic tux with gold cufflinks. Lots of gold cufflinks.
