Two Model J PUs in Bridge Position...

    ...wired like the two coils of a MM-PU, maybe with a series/parallel/sc-switch. Has anybody here done this?

    The reason i ask is that i really like the DiMarzio split P but i haven´t found a bridge pu that i like in combination as the spilt P has a pretty huge output.

    Suggestions would be appreciated!

    Yeah that work, would probably sound pretty good too. Since they are individually humbucking you wouldn't even need a mismatched set; you can use two bridge pickups.

    Fender made a bass like that with a double J humbucker in the bridge.
