    1. My signal in my 75 p bass has been dropping out occasionally. I have checked all the connections and they are fine. Any ideas?

    2. I acquired a MIM Fender P neck fret ends that hang off the fretboard. You feel them as you run your thumb down the sides. What can I do to fix that? Does that require fret removel?

    Appreciate the help

    1. The jack is probably worn. Try bending the contacts that touch the plug when inserted so that it makes better contact, or replace the jack.

    2. The ends just need filed and dressed properly. If you don't know what your doing or don't have the proper equipment, take it to a local luthier, its not expensive to have done.

Thanks Eric. Out of curiosity, what is involved to dress the fret ends?

    I'll check the jack.
