I occasionally browse Craigslist, looking for a good deal. I tried to do a google search with no answers. I just came across a a 2010 SVT810 cab, the second owner says it was never abused but one of the magnets fell off the driver. I'm not interested in buying it, but I was just wondering if these speakers are cast frame woofers or pressed? This seems odd.
The Eminence Legend B810, would be the closest thing to the OEM driver that comes in the SVT 810E. It is a stamped frame driver. http://www.eminence.com/pdf/Legend_B810.pdf The speaker could've been damaged any number of ways, but I'd think it'd probably been done as a result of dropping the cab while loading or unloading for transport.
I saw one scoot down a couple dozen club stairs like a toboggan when the mover lost his grip on the towel rack at the top landing. It probably was clocking 30-35 by the end of the trip. Not pretty, especially for the cigarette machine it was aimed at. Einstürzende Neubauten, lol...
