http://www.careerstep.com/typetest1.html What do you get? I get 115 words per minute, net gain 99 (how many spelled correctly).
Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 87 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 85 i edited as i went along, a habit i have. then i stopped doing that once i realized that that probably isn't the right thing to do. (and i'm using my parents' computer that has keys that require more effort... i'll try this again on my laptop sometime.)
Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 204 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 161 (but my typing went like this) ;sfhdkldhlkhphpjodhwfsfjkhwefhi;owfhcdsfvl;hwefasydfoihwe;fhkweifhd;dhsf;ljkhqwef wefokhw;dfhi;we fkwef. wef wefl;jwefhk;jweflmwefljl;dshfvor3fh;ow9-y4kjbvsdlkjcvhp9u4h3;ghopvfypb34fgvhklngrjuvf70[oihk345nklg/ldfmbvg
I got Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 96, Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 93 with two words mispelled and I didn't get the last two sentences. I believe my aunt can actually type around 200 words a minute without any mistakes, but then again, that's all she does all day
Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 48 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 47 Ok, I admit it, my teacher's bottom was too good to pay any attention to the lesson.. Guilty as charged
Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 80 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 79 Pretty lame for someone spending so many hours typing. Somebody give me some programming language to type in, I'll show you!
Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 60 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 44 I did *much* better than I thought I would. I did not correct as I went along though. In real life I would have.
Ha, ha, no offense but you suck at copy and paste: Gross Words Per Minute (GWPM): 9028 Net Words Per Minute (NWPM): 1097 It basically said all the words where wrong after the first block of text (which of course was perfect). So I don't know how it got the 1097 number. At 1097 NWPM it would take 12 hours to type the bible (King James Version) with no breaks. At my real typing speed (44 NWPM) it would take about 12 days, assuming I could maintain that pace.
