    All-American Rejects

I've alwayz wondered if bassists like him

and pete wentz (fall out boy) experiment with their bass playing

other than just basic picking bass lines

    like slapping

they are pretty much the "element" of their bands

but it doesn't seem like they woud go outside the box

    anyone really know?

I dont think the guy from the All American Rejects really cares about the bass playing being experimental , He mainly plays roots. He worries more abotu songwriting because he;s the head songwriter. THey us a hire-on bassists during thier shows sometimes. Like at the VMA's he handed off the bass to a hire on and he went to the piano. Even after finishing playing the piano he let the guy keep playing.

tyson ritter is under-rated. Hes got a good voice and though his lines are simple his tone is pretty good and hes tight.
