Yea the website looks great, and cool tunes on there too. I was considring selling my car so i can buy this xt-33. Hmmmmmm, let's see.... Curbow, or walk to work everyday .... hmmmmm hard one.
Man, I really dig these basses! I had a chance to buy two different Curbows but they slipped out of my hands. When the right 4 or 5 string comes along, I will certainly make sure to buy it fast.
theres something i really dig about the curbow design, but I'm not a fan of the headstock. I'd LOVE to get my hands on that bass though!
o O...sweet...never got into the xt-33's. but it's nice anyway...and...not listed in basses on ebay, either...that might be tough to find
from frets ~25-26 that thing looks darn hard to navigate precisely even for someone with skinny fingers (although not as bad as the 40 fret Ritter) I wonder how useful they really are.
I have two XT-33's and the frets above the 24th are surprisingly easy to navigate. My Curbows are both 5 string XT-33's, one fretted and one fretless and they are simply fantastic! -Pete
I particularly liked the XT-33 for fretless--CurbowPete's rosewood fretless used to be mine, and it was fantastic! Not sure how it would work out for fretted. The 7 is just what I need to add to my collection of zebrawood Curbows, though! By the way, I really like the new Curbow site design, too, especially the headstock up top! Mike
