QMT > FMT
No it's actually "flamed maple top"

Finger My Toucan
I tried to finger a toucan once. It pecked me!
In the Fender lexicon, it originally meant "figured maple top." But Fender buyers got all confused because the FMT models included the quilted maple tops (one of which I own). Eventually, they dubbed the quilted tops "QMT", thereby freeing "FMT" to describe the flamed maple tops.
I thoughgt it was fake maple top...
Remember the Foto Flames?
Or was it, Photo Phlames....
Yeah, but "figured" is more accurate because I've seen 'em in quilt!
FMT = Future Muslim Terrorist
