That's funny, my son loves it. To each his own.
  3. I think it's cool....personally I think ALL Warwicks are ugly, the streamer is about the only body style I like...maybe because it looks like a Spector, but the "paint splat" body style just don't do it for me..maybe I'm just too old school:)

    I hate goth series..
Every compagny now has its own goth series..
    Even Fender...
    It's horrible!
    I love simple style!
    Musicman rules..
(even musicman has a goth serie..

I kinda dig it...But I kinda like curvy spiked styles. I don't think the headstock goes well with the body shape, though.
  6. I was hoping that they'd only make one of those (see this thread for some background info, hmm, reading that thread again makes me feel psychic ;)).
I almost feel like selling my Streamer now...

Hmm, im attracted to goth seires like this, As a label stoner and wierd-o at school i guess its just my "style", Im looking to buy a new bass this summer, anyone got any link to any other "goth" style basses?
  8. ESH (another link), ESP, B.C. Rich (found no link, sorry) and Schechter make some "gothy" models.
Don't know if you'd ever see David J playing any of those, though. ;)

Warwick seems to me that they are becoming an Ibanez or shecter with all these cheap and wild looking new models.

    Oh well.........
  10. :( seems like it, doesn't it?

I recall seeing something about competition where Warwick would produce a bass after competitioners design, and that was the bass that won.

I think it was just one-off deal but who knows..

I still by my previous statement. That thing is ugly, and the lads in Germany seem to be on some sort of drugs! :D
What I do find interesting, is the people who say Warwicks are ugly, likes this design. What does that tell me? You guys would choose Madame the puppet over Miss Universe.
  14. It's hard to believe that's actually a prize winning design.
I wonder how ugly the losing designs were...
  15. You might have seen that in the thread I linked to above. I e this one ;)
I was hoping it was a one-off deal...

it's a good thing this POS doesn't make my warwicks, or any warwicks i'm thinking of buying in the future, any different.

because that thing looks like serious ass.

Can't imagine what they were thinking. Warwick has a distinct style and image, and a big following in the heavy rock camp already. No need for that ugly bass IMHO. But if someone likes it I don't mind.
  18. So do I. They must have been looking a lot like this one:
