    Hmmm, Basses maybe?

Nobody can help you with that. My guess is that you've seen less than 1% of what's in the market.
    Keep looking.

Does it matter what it looks like?

    (Unless it's a purple P-bass! :D).

Actually, I know someone who's got a really nice purple P-Bass. I wouldn't swap it for my Sei, but I wouldn't refuse to be seen with it :D

BTW, stuie86 - if you think pretty much all basses are ugly, you'll either have to play with your eyes shut or take up another instrument. Remember, however, that beauty is in the eye of the beholder...

Hey stuie, I didn't want to attack you.
Hell, sometimes I feel like I haven't seen 10% of all German basses, let alone in the worldwide market.

You can always get a luthier to build one you like.

PS: that bass above looks not too extraordinary, even the Ibanez Soundgear looks pretty much like that.

for a picture to work you have to put image tags around an "image". not a "web page".

since this is about basses, and even has the word "basses" in the name, i'm going to guess that it should be in the basses forum.

    -sigh-.
