Uh Oh amp problems

    I was just playing through a newly gained marshall dbs 7200 which is going into a marshall 4 x 10 bass cab and a peavey 410 tvx when I heard a loud pop noise and now the marshall was a load hiss noises coming from the tweeter as far as I can tell. It would be great to know what the problem is and if it is cheap to fix thanks

    Sounds like the tweeter in your Marshall cabs is shot, lots of people (like me) prefer cabs without-em anyway... You could just disconect it for free now, and then look into purchasing a replacement diaphragm (or complete tweaker) later if desired.
