I am starting to feel a little like i imagine Funkycarnivore feels with the basses coming in and out of my life- this one was dropped off tonight. The R bass is gone... yeah, i know, it looks like someone puked on it..;)

  3. Haha...man, I really like that one a whole lot. Wow! I sort of like the puked-on look--reminds me of a fossil or something. Yeah, the abalone blocks on mine are real nice in the way that they reflect light. How's it sound??

I can't understand why anyone would need more than one bass. You can only play one at a time:rolleyes:

Nice score, Adrian. Do I have anything you need...?
    :D

  15. Seriously, that one is beautiful. But I know that one of the commandments has something to do with not coveting your neighbour's Fodera, so I'm trying.

Some of the best burl I've seen Adrian (and I'm not even a fan of buckeye burl!)

Snaggle - Saw a Roscoe like that marble you're talking about (below). It almost had me totally fooled!

Fooled you, too? (I have little faith in digital photos)

Adrian's bass and Jeff's recently-sold buckeye burls have the blues and warmer color tones most "buckeye-heads" prize. I think that Roscoe just happened to be made from some that didn't (possibly due to climatic conditions in which the tree grew).
