Uhh Passive o active

    Im not exactly sure what the diffrence is lol.. someone care to tell me... i was looking at the btb1005 and it says its got passive pickups

    If you would do a search here, you´d find plenty of threads discussing this matter.

    But here goes:
    Active: There is an onboard EQ and you can fiddle a lot more with the sound. All active basses have batteries, either one or two 9volt.

    Passive: Don´t have batteries and don´t have onboard EQ.

    It´s a preference matter which one you like, I got both a passive bass and an active bass. Like both!
