I'd feel guilty buying it. It is a beautiful instrument, though. Actually, it's probaly one of the nicest Thumbs I've ever seen.

Basically he says he is selling a 96 bolt on (which he probably is) and hes got front view pics of Mike Flynn's (talkbass member) very nice thumb neck thru 4 string.. and behind pics of a thumb bolt on which is probably 96..

I've met Mike in person several times and I have even had a go at his bass once in Portslade ;) - but I've seen loads of very similar ones in shops.

Still - I can believe what you're saying and I've heard of many occasions recently where people have been defrauded on eBay by criminals not actually owning the goods they are trying to get money for!! :meh:

I wouldn't say "stupid kids" - I woudl call "a spade a spade", and say it's fraud or criminal activity!! :rollno:

    Has anybody advised Mike ...?

Not to mention another pic looks like it's lifted right from BassNW (recognise the bass of the Wall o' Cabinets behind it?)

This was probably a scam from someone hijacking someone else's account.

Scum of the earth if you tell me. That's why I don't use ebay anymore. I have TB, not E-bay. For the record- aside from one of my bag end s15Ds - I purchased my entire rig from info or sellers right here on TB.
