    The fingerboard is birdseye maple with MOP block inlays. What you can't really see is the cream binding on the neck as well as some purfling around the headstock (sorta like a 1/2mm layer of ebony or roeswood under the quilted maple headstock venere).
    Also what the photo doesn't show too well is the dark red pickguard. It matches the finish pretty damn close.

    Fodera never ceases to amaze me with the looks of their basses. And yours is no exception. Great looking bass and I'm sure it sounds even prettier.
