I've been waiting for parts and strings for another of my Rondo Hadean 24" scale bass uke mods that all came in unexpectedly today, so I put it together. Had Pat Wilkins paint it Olympic white, had Eric's Guitar cut out the tortoise pickguard, thumbrest and truss rod cover, bought HipShot license silver clover leaf tuning machines, silver Strat knobs, silver output jack and strap buttons, matching Levy Leathers 1.5" leather strap, and LaBella special short flatwound steel strings made exclusively for Gold Tone M-bass, and used spacers in the back of the string-through holes to be sure they would fit. I also made the head decal, calling it a Tortoilele. Came out really great, taking it to rehearsal tomorrow.
