Would a uni-bass run into a nice distortion pedal + some chorus + a 2x12 guitar combo do a decent job of emulating chugga chugga stuff? me and my keyboardist friend want to start the black stripes :( a drum machine+keyboard+bass hardcore band of pure furiousity :x or, lameness. whichever you decide.

Yep, you won't need a rhythm guitar... I've been using the Unibass for a while now, and it has become my "desert island" pedal. Pretty devastating when the effect is sent to a guitar amp, but that's more stuff than I want to lug around to a gig. WAY underated pedal IMHO. Be sure to set the pedal for distortion (duh) and the effect for "5th up".

    Guitar players will hate you!
