  3. Get a carrot to the case instead! (The usual third option...)

I bought an used MM Stingray 4 last November. The previous (and first) owner had kept the desiccant bag (http://www.desiccare.com/unitpak.htm) in the case since the bass was brand new (about 2-3 years).

My question is: should I throw away this little desiccant bag or is it advisable to keep it in the bass guitar case? I'd like to keep my bass case clean from unnecessary stuff...
