Hi everybody!!!!, just joined this list! cheers from spain!!

Does anybody know wich 6 string set ( brand/model?) is the one that has
each string end( top, at the headstock) wrapped in a different color?, for
example C-would be black and others, blue, yellow, green, red ( i don´t recall exactly the order),
also it has a Tappered B and an electric blue ¨wool¨ wraped at the ball end of each string( bridge),

Somebody told me that could be dean markleys, Blue steels, but nobody in spain can
figure it out as far as I know. The guys at the stores and the former owner
have no idea.Remember that spain is no Sam Ash or guitar center, so seldom
six string basses are sold. Also i contacted the online salesman at DM, but
only the bluesteeles were available for 6str, and he wasn´t shure about
    that ¨matching¨.

This particular question concerns me because my new bass (secondhand Cort A6)sound great, has good
intonation & feel and so far I don´t want to change tension on the neck if
    possible, messing with other strings.
if for someone this rings a bell, please make me know.

well, d'addario has different colored ball ends, but i don't think they have silk wraps at all.

you might get a better response if you post this in the strings forum. i'll move it there for you ;)

Sounds like they could be D'Addario Slo-Wounds. I know they have different color threads on the ends and the b-string is tapered.

Slowwounds, as maidenfreak points out, have multi-colored silks.
