Unsure of power

    I just bought an Acoustic 270 head and I'm not sure how many watts it has, it says 600 Watts on one place and 400 Watts at another, so I'm confused.
    The guy at the shop said it was like 250ish. so I don't know how that works.

    Take a look at the manual from the Acoustic fan site. If my memory serves, it's something like 250w at 2ohms.
     
  3. Yeah, the watts shown near the power cord is how much power the amp requires from the electrical outlet. Some of this gets turned into musical power at your speakers (250W) the remainder is turned into heat that your fan blows out the back.

    So this tag is related in some way to the amount of power your amp has but that's it.
