My contention is that since oxygen fuels fire, and fire will consume the oxygen around it, the fire drew oxygen into the wood and since the wood was not reduced to ashes, this bass actually contains MORE oxygen than normal!!!

Unless he did this in a sealed oxygen free environment, but if that's the case, how did he get the fire to stay lit?

Posted this on the TMB Club thread, but have to chime in here too. I live about 20min away from the guy who listed it (he's in Connecticut but posted it to every CL in the area) and sent him a message about it because I was genuinely curious about seeing it person. I never did though because he was a little squirrelly about meeting and very very firm on his price for it. I'd be happy to take Venmo donations though to go buy it an post a detailed review for science purposes.
