Upgrades for a Spector?

    What kind of upgrades can i do to my spector?
    is there a better preamp?
    what about the EMG-hz's should i change those?
    is there any simple things?

    Ive been reading that you love your Spector & it's as good as a Czech & now you want to upgrade it?

    Schaller tuninh machines
    Any EMG Extended Series pickup i.e 35DC, 35J, 35P, 35CS.
    EMG BTS preamp or Aguilar pre amp

    My first Czech has all these (cept the Aguilar preamp) My second has the Schaller's already, but will soon get the EMG pups and preamp treatment:)

    yes it does need new tuning keys.
    they are lumpy when you turn them.
    i do love it. i am just trying to make it the best i can!!
    do you know what kind of bridge would replace the one that is on it? it doesn't stay tight. not a big problem tho. it does stay in tune very well tho.

    I've seen Spector bridges on ebay - in whichever colour you want for about $20!!!!! Might be a good place to start! Unless you're looking for a different type of bridge - in which case ignore me!:)
