    hey all,

    I got two Fender combos - a Bassman 100 (1x15) and a BXR 60 (1x12).
they arent something to write home about but they do the job and they fit the bil back in the day when I got them.
volume wise they fit my current needs but I would like to somehow make them more refined sounding.
I was thinking about upgrading the drivers but then a milion questions arose - what power rating should I be using? how can I determine in which Ohm rating they operate? what are good quality drivers that I should look into and what are the differences in tone between various brands? whats a good place to purchase speakers from on the net? and is there anything in praticular that I should looking for when installing a new driver in an old combo amp?

    I'd really appreciate any help.

    thanks in advance,
    Elad.
