Upgrading suggestions

    Eventually I will upgrade from my Ashdown ABM 300 to an amp with more headroom. I like the sound of the amp but the H & K is supposed to sound even "warmer". I like vintagesounds but also a clear and solid bassheavy sound.
    What should I get:

    1. Ashdown ABM 500

    2. Hughes & Kettner Bassbase 600 head

    3. Suggestions...:confused:

    To get the true bassheavy sound you must use an SWR Mo' Bass and either a gibson Thunderbird or a Wal 5.

    That is what Bassheavy plays
