Upright bass simulation setting for BOD xt!

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Thirteen Devils, Mar 14, 2006.

  1. Ok here is my settings for a reasonably close upright sound using a Fender American deluxe Fretless Jazz with stock flatwound strings into my BOD XT-

Set the bass like this, vol- full, pan- full neck pickup, bass flat, treble boost a touch, middle boost a touch but not as much as the treble.

    Set the POD as follows-
    Amp-360
    cab-no cab
    0%- room
EQ-All flat but boost the 1.5kfreq to gain- +6.0
turn the knobs on the BOD XT as follows-
    Drive-2 o'clock
    Bass- 1 o'clock
    Lo Mid- 4 o'clock
    High Mid- 10 o'clock
    Treble- 1.30
    Channel Vol- 3 o'clock
    Compress- off

Try it through headphones i think it gets fairly close to a good thumpy Ray Brown type tone.:)
