    Hey everyone,
I'm sort of new to the Albany area in Upstate New York, and since Mars went out of business last year, I have no idea where to go! Are there any good music stores in the area? I'm willing to travel a little bit, but I just want somewhere to go if I need something, because right now I'm high and dry here!

How far you want to travel? I could tell you what's in Rochester, but I'm not familiar with Syracuse (or Buffalo for that matter).

PS why are you a sock?

BTW you're not far from Tobias (if they take visitors, I don't know).

    p.s.- I'm just a sock.... just.... because.
    p.p.s.- are you a pilot?

  5. I went to school in Schenectady and there is a pretty good music store called Drome Sound. Here's the address and phone number:

    Drome Sound
    3486 State Street
    Schenectady, NY
    518-370-3701
    www.dromesound.com

    Hope that helps!

No, it was the name of my band about a hundred years ago, which became my first internet anonymous name.
