For the money I don't see why anyone would need to invest in Mexican, Korean or even some expensive USA made guitars.
If you want to learn to play BASS for the same money this is built better, plays better and sounds better.
This is built better, wood is all settled, seasoned and stable.

When these were made they were considered high end and superb quality in construction.
From well seasoned woods to heavy duty hardware to amazing sounding pickups.
