    Price:
    $1200
    Strings:
    6
    Location:
    Georgia
For sale is a near-mint USA Peavey Cirrus.

    $1200 shipped, OBO. PayPal only.

This is a spectacular bass with unmatched playability! It is all stock with the expensive ABM German-made bridge, Dunlop straplocks, and much-coveted Peavey VFL pickups and Cirrus preamp. I'm only selling it because I have another one just like it and I don't need two of them, unfortunately.

The bass is a 35" scale neck-thru instrument, meaning that the B and E strings are simply monstrous! Sustain for days. I am the second owner. The original owner was a doctor who collected basses and kept this one in pristine condition.

There is nearly no fret-wear, no fret buzzing, no dead spots, the truss rod has not been touched (at least not by me), the neck is straight with no warping or twisting, and the action is low and fast! Just tune and play. The fretboard is in pristine condition as is the rest of this monstrous and gorgeous bass.

Control layout: volume, blend, bass, mids, treble (all active system)

Bass comes in its original hardshell case with original manual and case key.

(The bass in the pictures is the exact bass you will get)

Correct. Radiused pickups. I wish all pickups were like that.

The Cirrus bass (the "made in USA" model, not the BXP made in Indonesia) was made at the Peavey plant in Meridian between 1998 and 2009; but the Wenge Cirrus was built only for the first three or four years of the production because wenge wood became soon expensive and hard to find

  10. These Cirrus bases are no joke! If you like a Ken Smith-like tone, you'll love this bass because it's a fraction of the cost of a Smith. GLWTS
