This was my #1 for a few years. I did the mechanical build up. Pablo (Paul Lestock) at Arrow Guitar did the final setup. (His more famous clients include David Grisman. This guy is good enough that I don't even think about setup work anymore...) 9 lbs 0 oz. Intonation is dead on. No dead spots in neck. Pre-setup I have around $750 in parts. As far as J basses go, this one will go toe to toe with anything from Fender or Lakland...

Case is not included but could be available if necessary.

In my current gig, Passive is the way to go and my Rumblefish with Aero's is getting the majority of the playing time. I need another as a backup so I'm adding by subtraction...

If by chance you've missed my billboard adds offerring this up in trade - I'll add a few bucks for your 4 string Reverend ... otherwise $550 shipped* or offers ...

    Hi Res Body
    Hi Res Head Front
    Hi Res Head Rear

*Shipping included in the lower 48 US states at $550. HI, AK or Can, AU or EU is fine but at extra cost, figure $25 credit against the total shipping expense or by negotiation...

My preference in domestic shipping is UPS with the bass shipped with the neck removed. Body and neck boxed separately and then packed in one box. Your preferences in shipping will of course override. Case is beat to death and is not included on this sale,

Paypal - I'll take but I will ask that you cover the service charge.

Wow - lot's of fine print but I'm easy. You can check my feedback, Just want to get all the negotiable item's up front... probably as I don't really want to let this one go ... pre-separation anxiety!

Come on people. No it's not straight from the Fender factory obviously, but the parts put together alone make it worth MUCH more than $550!

    Snatch it!

Fender wishes they could put basses like this together... I've got more of my time and a very skilled luthier's time in this one than the Fender C shop will spend on a J ... THey'd be broke if they did. Actually I don't know how much time the C Shop spends but about 1 out of 3 of theirs that I play is acually a good playing well setup instrument so I'm not drawing the bar too high there. This bass seriously rocks. I'm suprised it's still here at $550. Off to that great Bay in the ether soon.
