Use a bass rig/ ea wizzy for Vocals?

    Yes, I know another crazy, unorthodox idea from yours truly...:D

    How would it sound to run vocals through Focus SA with a sansamp para driver + ea wizzy?

    The wizzy is fairly flat and with the whizzer cone alot of highs come thru. It is rated at 200w so that's fairly loud. The pa my one band uses is 200w and its plenty loud for vocals.

    Any idea what it would sound like? Is its a total waste of time to even consider it?

    It'll work, but it's not that great of a solution for long-term use. The Whizzy whizzer is not near-flat by any means and runs out of treble extension well before a typical compact PA cab would. Don't you think that if whizzers were so great for this that there'd be a lot of compact PA cabs built that way?
